Welcome

The BBC Samuel Johnson Prize for Non-Fiction is one of the UK’s most prestigious literary prizes and is worth £20,000 to the winning author.

The panel for the 2010 prize is chaired by Evan Davis, a presenter on Radio 4’s Today Programme.

He is joined by novelist and journalist for the Financial Times, Jan Dalley; executive editor of The Times Daniel Finkelstein; editor of New Scientist, Roger Highfield; and author and best-selling historian Stella Tillyard.
