The UK's most prestigious non-fiction award. The Samuel Johnson Prize for Non-Fiction is the richest non-fiction prize in the UK, worth £20,000 to the winner. The prize aims to reward the best of non-fiction and is open to authors of all non-fiction books in the areas of current affairs, history, politics, science, sport, travel, biography autobiography and the arts.

Submissions for the 2013 prize are now open
Submissions for all books need to be made by 28 June 2013. Books published from 1 November to 31 December 2013 have a further month until 27 July 2013 to submit copies of their books.
